An individual barricaded with weapons in a Whitehall Township home was safely taken into custody and transported for evaluation at a local hospital, authorities said.
Whitehall Township police Chief Michael Marks said officers responded about 4 p.m. Wednesday to the 2000 block of Columbia Avenue to assist Lehigh County Crisis Intervention Services.
