LOUISIANA — A 33-year-old woman was killed early this morning when a tree fell on her camper in the small Iberville Parish town of Maringouin. This was one of several reported downed trees following early Thursday morning storms.
Cindy Perritt died around 4:30 a.m. when the tree came down on her camper, according to Capt. Hosea Anderson of the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office.
“It was a very large tree, so they had some issues trying to move it. With help from some local volunteers, we were able to get the tree off the trailer.”…
