TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Nearly a dozen car show attendees say Speedway gift cards they won as prizes had no money on them when they tried to use them.
Jeff Hauden is a retired police officer who helps organize the Cops and Rodders car show, which raises money for the Toledo Police Museum. He said the museum board spent $1,000 at the Speedway on Conant Street in Maumee to buy gift cards to raffle off.
In the weeks after the show, Hauden said he received seven calls from attendees saying their cards didn’t have any money on them…
