A man allegedly raped a 9-year-old girl at least four times from 2019 to 2021 while she was in his care, Baton Rouge police say.
Santroy Jefferson, 37, was arrested Thursday on three counts of first-degree rape of a victim under 13 years of age and a count each of sexual battery and indecent behavior with juveniles.
