Man arrested in connection with deadly Baton Rouge stabbing

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The Baton Rouge Police Department has arrested a man in connection with the fatal stabbing of 54-year-old Faun Reese.

Police said detectives arrested Garry Miles on Friday, Aug. 28, on charges of second-degree murder and illegal use of weapons. Investigators identified Miles as a suspect during their investigation, according to the BRPD.

Miles was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison after he was released from the hospital, police said.

Reese was found dead inside her home with possible stab wounds around 2:50 p.m. on Aug. 25. Another person found inside the home was taken to a hospital in serious condition…
