SEATTLE, Wash. — Amazon is planning to separate approximately 121 employees across more than a dozen Washington state facilities, with locations in Seattle, Bellevue, and Sumner among those affected, according to a filing with the Employment Security Department.
The separations are scheduled to take place between October 1 and October 27, 2026, and are expected to be permanent. Amazon noted that affected employees who secure internal transfers before their separation date will not be let go as part of this action.
While Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) requires only 60 days’ advance notice, Amazon provided at least 90 days’ notice to all affected employees before their separations are scheduled to occur, the company said…
