Pacifica Planning Commission member Alexander Ferguson, 37, was identified as one of the two campers found dead in Tomales Bay after setting out by canoe to see the bay’s famous bioluminescence over the weekend.
A planning commission member told the Chronicle Tuesday that city officials had confirmed Ferguson had died.
“I am so heartbroken to hear of the tragic death of Alex Fergusen,” Pacifica Mayor Christine Boles said. “He is also a husband and father of three young children, and I’ve often see him and his beautiful family strolling around his beloved neighborhood of Sharp Park. I know Pacifica is a deeply caring community that will step up to ensure his family is well cared for as we all collectively mourn this huge loss.”…
