An 82-year-old woman who was walking in The Villages was killed on Tuesday evening after she was struck by an SUV.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol press release, the fatal crash occurred at around 7:27 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, near the intersection of Vermont Avenue and Wales Place, in the Village of Orange Blossom Gardens.
