A portion of Route 16 in Mendon is expected to remain closed Tuesday afternoon as a result of a truck crash, according to police.
Around 2 p.m., Mendon police alerted the public that Route 16 was closed between Thornton Street and Taft Avenue due to a crash at the intersection of Nipmuc Drive.
“Route 16 and Nipmuc Drive are expected to be closed for an extended period of time leading into the late afternoon hours,” the police department wrote. “Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes.”…
