ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — More than 31,900 customers are without power Wednesday evening as severe storms move across parts of the region.
As of 11:00 p.m., more than 12645 RG&E customers have lost power in Monroe County, most of those in Webster and Penfield. 2525 RG&E customers are in the dark in Wayne County. There are another 635 RG&E outages and 570 National Grid outages reported in Livingston County. 2025 National Grid customers are without power in Orleans County, with 2610 down in Genesee County. National Grid also has nearly 600 outages in Monroe County.
NYSEG has 7940 without power in Seneca County, 630 in Ontario, 1405 in Yates and 315 in Wayne.

The outages come as a volatile round of thunderstorms moves through Western New York. A tornado warning is in effect for Orleans County as meteorologists track a rotating storm moving through the area.
