A developer is moving ahead with a controversial proposal to build apartments near a peat bog in Worcester.
Wood Partners, an Atlanta-based company, has submitted plans to build 300 apartments at 1-3 Suburban Road. Three five-story buildings with 100 apartments each will be built, according to the definitive site plan.
The developers also want to build 600 parking spaces, a clubhouse, a pool house, a mail area, four loading spaces, bike storage areas and an electric vehicle charging space, according to the project application…
