Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador awarded the state’s Medal of Honor to nine first responders yesterday. Five are from North Idaho departments.
All five were on Coeur d’Alene’s Canfield Mountain in June 2025, when a gunman ambushed first responders working a wildland fire. Two other responders died in the attack.
