LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Multiple shootings throughout August and early September in and around Lexington have prompted a local organization to increase the reward for vital information community members might have to help bring justice to those impacted.
On Sept. 5, Bluegrass Crime Stoppers wrote on Facebook that the organization was temporarily offering $20,000 in “enhanced rewards” for information regarding “a recent string of violence” across central Kentucky.
“You may have information that could help investigators—even if you don’t think it seems important,” members of Bluegrass Crime Stoppers said on Saturday. “You don’t have to give your name, and you could be eligible for a cash reward.”…
