MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A local nonprofit is working to be a light for people facing difficult circumstances, taking to the streets of Memphis Saturday to provide food, water and other resources to hundreds in need.
With temperatures expected to climb into the triple digits, potentially dangerous conditions were a major concern for people spending extended periods outdoors.
