AUSTIN (KXAN) — Travis County Emergency Services District No. 1 has deployed a group of firefighters to assist communities across Texas as multiple wildfires continue to burn across the state, officials said.
The department said in a social media post that the latest deployment sends personnel with specialized wildland firefighting training, experience and qualifications to support ongoing wildfire operations.
