ALBANY — Protesters marched from West Capitol Park to Swinburne Park in Albany on Saturday to kick off a broader March to Abolish Animal Testing organized by nonprofit animal rights organization PETA.
Organizers say the march will end with a protest outside a Wayne County dog and ferret breeding facility, Marshall BioResources, on Sept. 26. The march aims to raise awareness about alleged conditions inside the facility, according to a news release from PETA, among other grievances.
