Expect delays: Southbound Commerce Street closing for four weeks near Charleston

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Drivers should brace for delays near downtown Las Vegas next week as crews continue to work on the Charleston Boulevard Storm Drain Project.

Beginning Monday, September 21, construction crews will close Commerce Street on the south side of Charleston Boulevard for about four weeks to install underground box culverts as part of the ongoing Charleston Boulevard Storm Drain Project.

According to city officials, work will limit southbound travel daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Charleston Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction…
