SALEM, Va. (WDBJ) – A $20 million investment from HCA Virginia, a parent company of LewisGale Medical Center, will go toward a new freestanding emergency room in Hollins and a second helicopter and base in Danville, the corporation announced.
The near 11,000-square-foot facility will mark LewisGale’s third freestanding emergency room, along with Cave Spring ER and Blue Hills ER; it’s expected to open in Hollins in 2028, said the corporation.
