(NewsNation) – Lindsey Isaacs describes her 13 days in jail as terrifying following her wrongful arrest after Flock Safety cameras placed her at the scene of a fatal car crash she had nothing to do with.
“I was terrified,” Isaacs said. “I was facing the possibility of spending the rest of my life in prison for a crash I knew I had not been involved in.”
Testifying before Congress Wednesday, Isaacs said she was falsely accused of a triple vehicular homicide from an October 2025 crash. Police arrested her in April 2026, and she spent 13 days in jail, including solitary confinement, where she said, “There were human feces smeared on the walls and the bed.”

Isaacs said troopers showed up at her door and told her that her car killed three people, even though she wasn’t near the scene and her car had no damage.
“They said, ‘We have your plate on a Flock camera, and your car has damage consistent with a collision,'” Isaacs said. “And I said, ‘Where’s the damage? You’ve got the wrong person.'”…
