The detention and injury angered witnesses, and many local residents say that the incident is part of a trend of Immigration and Customs Enforcement squads targeting people at public transit locations.

The detention happened at around 6:20 p.m., when ICE agents surrounded a work truck that had just pulled up next to an equipment storage lot at Communipaw and Suydam Avenues.
