LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – The Lansing Police Department is investigating after human remains were found Saturday evening in the 2400 block of Tecumseh River Road.
Officers were dispatched to the area around 7 p.m. Saturday for a report of a suspicious situation. When they arrived, they located what appeared to be human remains.
Investigation underway
The Lansing Police Department’s CSI unit and the Michigan State Police Crime Lab were called to the scene. Investigators later brought in the Michigan State University Anthropology team to assist with a more thorough investigation.
Based on the condition of the remains, police believe they are several years old…
