Fifteen children, ranging from one to 17 years old, were allegedly packed into a two-bedroom apartment with little food and no toilet paper. The conditions were described as “deplorable” by the authorities.
The three parents living at the complex with the children were arrested on Thursday, September 24, and charged with first- and second-degree cruelty to children. Ashley Jackson, 40, Derrick Jackson, 41, and Briana Reynolds, 36, are being held at the Cobb County jail following their arrest.
