IDOT announced today that repairs to the bridge carrying Jackson Street over the Des Plaines River, in Joliet, will require a full bridge closure over five consecutive nights beginning, weather permitting, Monday, Oct. 12.
Starting the evening of Monday, Oct. 12, the public should expect overnight full closures approaching the bridge from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night. The repairs are expected to be completed by 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. …
