SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – The following statement was made by the Shreveport City Council:
“Shreveport City Council members are expressing their grief and calling for community action following a surge of gun violence across the city in recent days, including incidents in the districts represented by Council Chairwoman Tabatha Taylor and Council Vice Chairwoman Ursula Bowman.
The violence has left families grieving, residents injured and neighborhoods struggling with the devastating impact of gun violence. Among the victims is a 13-year-old who has passed away…
