A Texas family says it has lost confidence in Tomball Independent School District after raising concerns about how school administrators in the Houston suburb handled a report involving their 5-year-old daughter at Grand Oaks Elementary School.
Molly and Pablo Rucker said their daughter told them another student in her classroom had touched her inappropriately. The parents reported the concern to the school on Sept. 25 and initially went to campus administrators looking for answers about what happened.
Their concerns grew after Principal Heather Myers left a voicemail regarding a Title IX meeting. According to the family, the recording continued after Myers apparently believed the call had ended.
