Back-to-back rain hits Beulah, floods roads and strands residents

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Beulah is facing back-to-back days of rain and flooding hitting the community.

Officials said Squirrel Creek and South Creek were hit hard with rain overnight and were the areas where people were impacted the most.

Residents dodge flooded bridge

A man who lives along South Creek said he had people working at his home leave before they were trapped by a flooded bridge.

People on the south side of town have rock and soil dumped on the roads and in front of their homes from the moving water. Plow trucks have been on the roads throughout the day trying to clear the debris…
