Newport sophomore Oscar Bucher, who suffered a scary injury Thursday in the Buffaloes’ game vs. Steel-High, is back home and recovering from a possible concussion, according to Newport head coach Todd Rothermel.
In the Mid-Penn Capital Division game at Bishop McDevitt’s Rocco Ortenzio Stadium, Bucher, lining up at defensive end, was injured with 1:35 remaining in the third quarter.
