ANKENY, Iowa — Gary Eubank enjoyed his career building John Deere Farm Equipment. He had a long 48 and a half year career working at the John Deere Des Moines works. He was certified by his union as one of the most senior employees on the Deere payroll.
Eubank, now 86, has been coming to the plant for some 18 years after his retirement. Now, he serves as one of the tour guides, leading a 90-minute tour around several buildings on the Deere factory campus.
