The film industry in Shreveport-Bossier continues to move forward, with local productions, independent filmmakers, training opportunities and new projects helping build momentum across Northwest Louisiana.
Wade Marshall, Film and Entertainment Commissioner for Visit Shreveport-Bossier, said production activity has remained steady, even when it is not always visible to the public.
“I think the main thing to stress is that we have continued to stay busy, even if it’s not directly in your face and, you know, Tom Cruise is not walking around,” Marshall said. “We have continued to do production almost on a monthly basis here.”…
