BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Retired Lt. General Russel L. Honoré is raising concerns about AI-generated deepfakes and the potential for misleading video content to trigger unrest on American soil.
Honoré, who led recovery efforts in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, said the threat posed by AI deepfakes has grown to a point where even he has had to take a second look at video content online.
