LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — U.S. Rep. Hillary Scholten (D-Grand Rapids) announced on Friday that she and her husband are separating after 20 years of marriage.
“Earlier this year, our family went through a heartbreaking change when my husband of 20 years suddenly left our family home and then filed for divorce,” Scholten wrote in a letter shared Friday afternoon.
According to court records, Jesse Holcomb filed for divorce Jan. 26 at Kent County Circuit Court. An attorney for Holcomb did not immediately respond to a request for comment…
