New Era Cap Foundation gives D’Youville $250k for new College of Medicine

BUFFALO, N.Y. — New Era Cap Foundation is giving D’Youville $250,000 to help support and develop the university’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.

According to a spokesperson for D’Youville, the investment will help advance the program, which is designed to address regional physician shortages, with a focus on training doctors to work in urban and rural communities that are medically underserved.

“The New Era Cap Foundation and D’Youville University are strongly rooted in the spirit and resilience of Buffalo, and this partnership reflects our shared belief in investing in the health and future of our community,” said President Lorrie Clemo. “With the support of the New Era Cap Foundation, we are building a medical school that will not only educate the next generation of physicians, but it will also strengthen access to care for all of Western New York.”…
