THREE RIVERS, Mich. — Police are looking for a person who drove off after hitting a 10-year-old riding a scooter.

Three Rivers Police Department (TRPD) officers said they responded to a hit-and-run crash on Friday after 7 p.m. near the intersection of South Grant Avenue and Hill Street in which an unknown white vehicle hit a 10-year-old child riding on an electric scooter.
Emergency responders took the child to the hospital and officials are awaiting information about the extent of their injuries.
