Oklahoma lands former 5-star who couldn’t stay away from home

This time, the Oklahoma Sooners got Keeley Parks to stay home.

Parks, from Norman, announced on Monday morning that she committed to the Sooners out of the Transfer Portal after one year at Kansas. She will have three years of eligibility still left at OU.

Parks, listed at 5-foot-11, was nearly a Sooner a year ago and never left Norman. She ultimately chose Kansas after also visiting OU, Oklahoma State, UCLA, Baylor and North Carolina. She also had offers from LSU, Arizona, Colorado, Duke, Florida, Iowa State, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, Missouri, NC State, Ohio State, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Parks was the top player in the state of Oklahoma for the 2025 class as a five-star recruit out of Norman High School, where she averaged 25.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 5.1 steals and 3.6 assists as a senior.
