Newport News, Virginia-based Liebherr USA Co. says it delivered an LH 60 Industry E electricpowered material handler to the Raw Materials Group of Nucor Corp. at the ConExpo-Con/Agg trade show last month in Las Vegas.
Liebherr says the addition of the electric material handler to the Nucor fleet further demonstrates the two companies’ commitment to sustainability in the scrap and recycling industry.
Nucor Raw Materials operates a network of metals recycling facilities throughout the United States and a direct-reduced iron (DRI) production facility in Louisiana.
