RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – The new home of the Flying Squirrels is already proving to be a success as the team sits at the top of the Eastern League for wins but also for best game attendance so far.
It is a sign of the possible economic development that could come from the ballpark. Now, the city is working on building up the surrounding neighborhood to create a new corridor.
But the Squirrels’ old home is going to be sticking around a little bit longer…
