‘Multiple’ Las Vegas middle school students fall ill after eating suspected cannabis candy

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Multiple students at a Clark County School District middle school reported feeling ill after consuming a candy that appeared to contain cannabis last week.

According to the district, CCSD police began an investigation on Friday, April 10, after students reported feeling ill at Hyde Park Middle School, located near West Charleston and South Valley View boulevards.

The students were feeling ill due to eating “a candy that appears to contain cannabis that they brought to campus,” the district said.
