Baby eagles Peace and Harmony on view in Vancouver livestream

Honestly, couldn’t we all use a little Peace and Harmony right about now?

You can get some virtually, courtesy of Liberty and Justice, two eagles who just hatched chicks, and the Royal Oaks Country Club in Vancouver, which set up a livestream so we could all watch.

According to the Royal Oaks website, the golf course’s superintendent, Gordon Kiyokawa, hatched the eagle cam idea in 2024. After conferring with experts on how to best do it without disturbing the eagles, the club put a camera in an adjacent tree that had a good view of the nest.

The planners took care not to disturb the birds, waiting for the birds to leave before installing the equipment. Eagles normally leave in July and return to their nest in the winter. With the help of an arborist, the camera was in place in December 2025, and the stream went live on Jan. 12. Peace and Harmony arrived on March 28 and March 29, and have been racking up the YouTube views ever since…
