SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane City Council is moving its long-running Monday Legislative Session to Wednesday as part of a broader schedule change meant to improve flexibility, transparency and public access.
The city announced Wednesday, April 15, that the change is designed to avoid repeated disruptions from Monday holidays and create a more consistent meeting calendar. A midweek schedule could make coordination easier for council members and staff, the city said in a release.
