CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A lawsuit has been filed against the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, among others, over the death of a detainee who died by suicide at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center in 2024.
The suit, filed by the inmate’s father, alleges negligence, gross negligence, and wrongful death, and demands a jury trial.
