Kansas City man wins second lottery jackpot in two years

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Lightning has struck twice for a Kansas City man who won his second lottery jackpot prize in just two years.

The winner recently discovered he’d won a $242,000 “Show Me Cash” prize in the March 26 drawing, according to the Missouri Lottery. He was stunned since he’d also won a jackpot prize in 2024.

“The first time I won, I said I’d never win it again,” he told the Missouri Lottery. “I continued to play but only when the jackpot got over $200,000.”
