THOMASVILLE, N.C. — What started as a normal morning for a Thomasville homeowner quickly turned into a frightening encounter when a man on the run ended up hiding just outside her home.
Melissa Deese said her home security system alerted her around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday that something was happening in her driveway.
