BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. — A 38-year-old man died Friday evening following a single-vehicle crash in Berkeley County, according to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.
The collision occurred around 7:08 p.m. on April 17 near 501 Foster Creek Road in Goose Creek. Authorities said the incident involved a pickup truck.
The driver, identified as Byron Hugee of North Charleston, was pronounced dead at the scene. Coroner officials said he died from injuries sustained in the crash.
