BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — More than three dozen veterans arrived back in Western New York on Sunday night after taking a trip to Washington D.C. with Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight.
Hundreds showed up to the Buffalo airport to welcome the veterans home. Honor Flight takes veterans on a tour of Washington D.C. to see some of the military monuments that are dedicated to their service.
News 4’s Dave Greber was on the trip to document their experiences, and more from the trip will be on WIVB News 4 in the coming weeks.
