Six private residences in Northeast Portland’s Irvington Historic District will be open Sunday, May 17, during the 42nd Irvington Home Tour. The tour includes a rare opportunity to see inside the Harry P. Palmer House, a high-end Arts and Crafts home completed in 1912.
The three-level dwelling was designed by architect David L. Williams. The exterior features rough-textured clinker brick accenting the stucco. Inside, mahogany covers the dining room walls and ceiling, and the octagonal-shaped breakfast room is lined in Circassian walnut.
