ST. LOUIS – Pressure STL, a south St. Louis smoke shop, will shut down and destroy its products after Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway accused the business of selling illegal THC products, including some that resembled popular candies and snacks.
In February, Hanaway filed a lawsuit against Pressure STL, alleging that the business sold unregulated THC products without a license and deceptively marketed certain items as non-intoxicating.
The lawsuit cited several THC-infused items labeled as “Skittles,” “Stoney Patch Kids,” “Chips Ahoy!” and “Milky Way,” claiming that the packaging was “identical or confusingly similar” to non-cannabis snacks and designed to appeal to children…
