AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A new children’s training program in Amarillo is aiming to build confidence, character and physical skills for kids through a science-based approach.
KidStrong opened its Amarillo location on Aug. 4, 2025, after more than a year of planning and training, according to local owner Jessica Sparks.

Sparks said the program focuses on developing strong, confident and high-character kids through structured classes designed by child development experts.
“All of our programming is designed by child development experts,” Sparks said. “We have MDs, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and things like that who actually design the programming and so it’s all science-based, meaning that they have tested things in science and what actually works.”…
