Local advocates remind New Mexicans about rights as crime victims

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Mothers Against Drunk Driving New Mexico is hosting a community candlelight vigil to honor the victims and families whose lives were impacted by drunk or impaired drivers.

It’s happening Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. at the New Mexico Veterans Memorial Park, which is near Louisiana and Gibson. It’s free to attend but you’re encouraged to RSVP online ahead of time.
