Deb Haaland and Sam Bregman in The Debate Games

The charitable organization Dukes Up will present Deb Haaland and Sam Bregman in The Debate Games, a gubernatorial Democratic primary debate, on Thursday, May 7 at 7 p.m. on NMPBS Ch. 5.1, and Friday, May 8 at 9 p.m. on Ch 5.4. The program will also stream free on the PBS app and NMPBS YouTube channel at the time of initial broadcast.

To be filmed Saturday, May 2 at 6 p.m. at CNM’s Smith Brasher Auditorium in Albuquerque, the event will feature New Mexico’s Democratic candidates for governor, former U.S. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland and Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman, in a community-driven, interactive debate format. Gwyneth Doland, Associate Chair for Journalism at the UNM School of Communication & Journalism, and New Mexico in Focus Politics Correspondent, will serve as moderator.

Topics: Dukes Up is gathering questions from New Mexico organizations working to protect democracy and liberty.
