KB Home Drops 900-Home Mini City on Henderson’s North Side

Meriden, a 110-acre master-planned neighborhood from KB Home, is officially landing on the north side of Henderson and it is big. The project is set to bring more than 900 new homes to the city, with prices starting in the mid $300,000s, below the valley’s recent median. Model homes and a sales center are already open, and city and state officials turned out this week to help unveil plans for parks, paseos and walking paths that will knit the neighborhood together.

Official plans and timeline

In a press release, KB Home described Meriden, at the corner of West Galleria Street and North Stephanie Street near Interstate 11, as a multi-neighborhood master plan with prices “from the mid $300,000s.” The release cited Mayor Michelle Romero and KB Home division president Jim McDade, who framed the project as a family-focused addition that features parks, walking trails and a sales center that is now open for tours.
